And the Results Are In! Top Healthcare Website Needs

One of our main objectives at AVID Design is to always be aware of what our current and potential clients are struggling with when they are looking at their healthcare websites. We see conferences like SHSMD as a wonderful opportunity to find out what people in the healthcare industry are interested in and what they need for their healthcare marketing initiatives.

We took a poll from all of the SHSMD 2012 attendees who came to talk to us (and get a Starbucks gift card!) and the results are in. This was a great chance to assess the most current web needs of the healthcare industry:

It’s like we always say at AVID Design: Content is King, with 30% of our visitors stating content as their top priority. Keeping content relevant and able to drive conversions is the key to increasing calls to action and ROI. With so many interactive and robust conversion modules available, keeping audiences engaged through strategic content development is AVID Design’s top priority.

After that was Resources, with CMS, SEO, and SharePoint tying for 3rd place. We love talking with our friends and colleagues about their online obstacles and, more importantly, solutions to meet our clients’ most urgent needs.

Here are some of last year’s numbers from HCIC 2011 for comparison:

We can’t wait for HCIC 2012 to keep the conversations going! What are your biggest healthcare website challenges?

AVID Design offers full-scale written and visual communication services for hospitals and healthcare systems, including SharePointWeb designSEO and PPC content development and assessmentonline video and rich mediaanalytics and measurementcontent management systems and more.
